Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions by designing, developing, and installing software solutions to support business requirement.
• Remain current on new technologies; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary
• Mentor development team to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
• Follow the software development lifecycle.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 3 years experience in system development
• Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing medium to large information systems
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java or newer framework
• Knowing UI software development kits such as Flutter is an advantage
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React Native, React.JS and Node.JS
• Ability to build automated deployments through the use of configuration management technology such as Jenkins
• Eager to learn new knowledge/technology
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Influent in the English language is preferred
• Knowledge of finance is a plus
